Adding to the evidence that this Admin does not want to prevent crime but rather use it as pretext- the gutted injury prevention and control division works on stopping gun violence injuries and opioid disorders. Its goal was to make everyone "safe and free from injuries and violence."

People are starting to just roll their eyes at these CNN/MSNBC attacks. But by discrediting them repeatedly, he's setting the stage for saying they just aren't portraying rampant crime, which justifies his use of the NG and further power grabs. Today's circus made that pretty clear.

there are of course a million problems with this order, which reads like the south coming into take over the north - we've had that war, but one other is that it remains hurricane season here in Texas and i don't know, we've had some bad ones in years past that require the National Guard

SUBJECT: Calling Members of the Texas National Guard into Federal Service
On June 7, 2025, the President of the United States called forth at least 2,000 National Guard personnel into Federal service pursuant to section 12406 of title 10, U.S. Code, to protect U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other U.S. Government personnel who are performing Federal functions, including the enforcement of Federal law, and to protect Federal property, at locations where violent demonstrations against these functions are occurring or are likely to occur based on current threat assessments and planned operations. On October 4, 2025, the President determined that violent incidents, as well as the credible threat of continued violence, are impeding the execution of the laws of the United States in Illinois, Oregon, and other locations throughout the United States.
The President has authorized me to coordinate with you on the mobilization of up to 400 members of the Texas National Guard under section 12406 of title 10, U.S. Code. The orders will be effective immediately for an initial period of 60 days, and be subject to extension, to perform federal protection missions where needed, including in the cities of Portland and Chicago. The Chief of the National Guard Bureau will immediately coordinate the details of the mobilization with you, in coordination with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Commander, U.S. Northern Command. The mobilized Service members will be under the command and control of the Commander, U.S. Northern Command.

This is a declaration they will use federal resources to deploy violence against judges, prosecutors, and attorneys general. There's no other coherent interpretation of the phrasing, including "only remedy," "legitimate state power," and connecting those people with "terror networks."

The issue before is now is very simple and clear. There is a large and growing movement of leftwing terrorism in this country. It is well organized and funded. And it is shielded by far-left Democrat judges, prosecutors and attorneys general. The only remedy is to use legitimate state power to dismantle terrorism and terror networks.

You have to look HARD to find this in the news. Hard to find many elected officials expressing outrage over what is an illegal raid specifically designed to terrorize communities of color and show power. This should be an easy one to take a stand on. Silence.

There will be times when the struggle seems impossible. I know this already. Alone, unsure, dwarfed by the scale of the enemy.

Remember this, Freedom is a pure idea. It occurs spontaneously and without instruction. Random acts of insurrection are occurring constantly throughout the galaxy. There are whole armies, battalions that have no idea that they’ve already enlisted in the cause.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

And remember this: the Imperial need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle. Oppression is the mask of fear.

Remember that. And know this, the day will come when all these skirmishes and battles, these moments of defiance will have flooded the banks of the Empires’s authority and then there will be one too many. One single thing will break the siege.
