👍🏻 Follow a more diverse, wide-ranging scope of users in order to create a more balanced feed, and step out of any supposed echo chamber.

👎🏻 If an account tears down others in a way that oversteps what seems mature and tolerant, then mute it. e.g. "I hate anyone at the opposite end of the political spectrum, so I will just insult them instead."

👍🏻 Accept that although I'm gay, I don't have to align myself with the "community" majority. I don't have to be a sheep. Being gay isn't my personality, it's just a characteristic.

👎🏻 Don't worry about consistency across platforms and accept X/Bluesky have a different purpose for me than Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
