I’ve tried to do that, too. Unsuccessfully. Decided to still drink my caffeinated coffee in the mornings but cut out the caffeine for the rest of the day. No more Diet Cokes.

You only need to look at a map of Europe from 1968 and compare to today to see how much things change over just a relatively short period of time, like the splitting up of Yugoslavia, and Belarus, Ukraine and the Baltics breaking off from Russia. Same could be said for 1916 to 1968.

Most random? Worked at the local hospital in Aspen in the early 80s and back then you’d see celebrities all the time around town. Played on the men’s hospital softball team and one game John Denver was playing right field for our opponents.
