- Remember to take pictures and share that you did a thing! It's very exciting.

- Make sure to do something fun in your downtime, even if it's just walking around the block or ordering pizza.

- You can still sightsee ... from the window of a Lyft ... XD

- Breathe.

- As soon as you get to the hotel, shower. Omg it makes you feel so much better and cleans off all that muck from the trip.

- DRINK WATER.

- Bring someone if you can to work as a PA. A friend or family member! They can take pics and help you with stock, etc.

- Make a sleep playlist for night ..

- Don't wear what you're going to wear to the event while you travel there. One time I got stuck in Baltimore with one outfit and someone blew cigarette smoke on me outside the airport ...

Spent most of today sitting in my hotel room scribbling notes and scheming for Book Three. Fiona Binst is my main character and they are going to break my fucking heart by the time this manuscript is done. This badass punk is already screaming “Defying Gravity” in my head.
