Definitely. The one thing I’ve been preaching for the last couple years is the need for more consistent defense from the Cs. Hopefully they retain Al and he can maybe do some mentor-work to make him more well-rounded?

Obviously not a tall center by this NBA-Era’s standards but for $2.5M a year and more proven than Amari/Neemias (College Player of the year in 2021). Just hasn’t gotten real NBA minutes - I’d say it’s worth a shot instead of spending $20M on a guy like Deandre Ayton (esp. during a “lost” season)
