I'm 100% with ya, Bruce - I think the talk of switching to a different schedule is complete lunacy.
This would be the definition of cutting off your nose to spite your face. Would it help with a few transfers? Probably. But is that reason enough to change the whole model? No way.

It's a bummer when a player who was in such good form is a no-show in a big game, but that was def the case with DL last night. Reminded me a bit of his game for RSL vs the Loons in the playoffs last year...

Not an unreasonable take…
I think the powers that be keep it to battle against gripes that a penalty shootout is a horrible way to end a game (idea being if they can’t end it in a full extra 30 minutes then it has to stop at some point)

I just disagree with prioritizing Saturday’s home game over last night’s, which seems to have been the plan with 8 new players in the starting lineup.
I get needing to rotate some, but that seemed like a concession to try and steal points rather than go for 3 pts against a bad team we should beat.

They had one simple objective in the 4th quarter - take care of the ball…and they couldn’t do it. It’s maddening! Of course I’m happy they won but jeez do they have to make it so difficult?

You can’t ignore that the narrative after game 1 was how much the Wolves dominated the Lakers physically…
So OF COURSE the Lakers are going to come out and be overly physical and refs are going to allow them to do whatever they want
