Sorry, I was just picking up on a heightening tone and didn’t feel like having a back-and-forth about this at the time. I don’t disagree with you, but if you’re looking at it from an anxiety or mental health perspective, a lot of Youtubers for example don’t read their own comments.

Liberals were fools believing that capitulation was necessary for a strong union going ahead. They should’ve crushed every fucking sign of the confederacy for all time. Instead, they let white supremacists undermine black power and bully them and then the Democrats won the house and that was that.

For one thing, you haven’t been on that set so you don’t know what the crew is allowed to do and not allowed to do. If film crews are like most of the union people I’ve worked with, they just wanna go to work, put their hours in working, and go the fuck home at the end of the day. Not much downtime.

It’s a weird thing to complain about. Actors can sit around for fucking hours between takes, the unionized crew people are working most of the day. The producers wanna make sure the actors are relaxed and taken care of. What do you want them to do? What’s your alternative?

Being really precious about the two Tron movies for anything besides nostalgia with the original is a bit silly. And I went to see the original in the theaters. These are not “great movies”, they’re just kind of interesting and different and visual/audio interesting.

It was pointed out to me yesterday that the US constitution only says the president can’t be ELECTED more than twice. Doesn’t say anything about not BEING the President, it just says it can’t happen through an election. 🫠

What has impeaching Donald Trump ever done? If impeachment doesn’t mean removal then it’s literally fucking pointless. It’ll only matter to historians after he’s dead. I’m not saying don’t do it, I just don’t think it’s any kind of victory anymore. It’s just seen as political by MAGA.

I’d be curious to see the methodology and data. Are these console and PC “hobbyist” video game players who mostly just play CoD and Madden and FTP games or are they also including mobile phone gamers who are still playing Candy Crush and never really buy any games at all in their survey?

Wait until the next election where they try to put National Guard and ice at election stations under the guys of “securing the elections”. Completely fucking illegal, but it will be months after the election before it’s sorted out in the courts and nothing will be done about it.

I didn’t say to expect no criticism, I just said it’s fine to ignore it if it bothers you. And I do maintain that most casual art criticism is either fawning or uninformed or mean or completely nonconstructive unless you have a very narrow audience making comments.
