It seems to me in the post-Musk era, social media companies are only performative in their efforts to stop kids seeing inappropriate content and not really trying

I’m currently doing some work on the ‘graduate premium’ for my course, and my view is if you aggregate different courses, sectors and universities, the results are pretty meaningless. This chart IS interesting and we should reflect on why private school kids benefit more from higher education.

Just finished the American Factory, documentary on Netflix. It’s a good watch and a handy reminder of what bringing back industry might look like.

But I will be coming back to the wonderful company song and dance routine for a long time.

Very taken by this handsome post-war house, just down the road from me. Obviously, a do-it-upper, but with the large garden and price, I suspect it is aiming at someone who wants to knock it down and build a number of units on the plot.

Facebook is full of this kind of stuff, but I’ve never seen this amount of flooding before. Often in places without major water courses.
