What I like about Paperpile is highlighting my pdfs and it creates and easily cut and pastable notation for me. Zotero felt opaque to me? Admittedly I haven't fucked too hard with Zotero because the UX felt opaque to me.

I was kinda feeling Paperpile but tablet access is weird so I am as yet unaffiliated.
