We will never be able to put our country back together until we prosecute those who are breaking the law multiple times a day. It’s what should have happened four years ago and it is a huge part of the reason we are in this mess today.

Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength.

Instead we saw capitulation and a betrayal of working Americans.

The American people need more from their leaders.

The next Democratic president should declare that the National Emergencies Act and Article II of the Constitution allow him to:

•admit D.C. and Puerto Rico as states
•abolish ICE
•grant citizenship to any immigrant
•disband the 5th Circuit
•expand the Supreme Court

Seriously: Why the hell not?

There is only one way to respond to this GOP gerrymandering power-grab: hit them back harder. Newsom has shown what we can do when we’re not afraid to play their game. Time for other Dems to follow suit.

First, Donald Trump used the Marines and the National Guard to support his mass deportation agenda in Los Angeles.

Now, he's using similar tactics in D.C. like a tinpot dictator.

Don't look away. Don't stay silent. If you do, don't be surprised if it's your city next.

When insurance companies suddenly want to increase customer premiums $750 and blame it on their loss ratio, we simply ask them: prove it.

We are seeking accountability from State Farm and a level playing field.

Illinoisans deserve nothing less.
Pritzker, Welch and Harmon: Homeowners deserve transparency from State Farm, not unexplained rate hikes
Other insurance companies work with the state on rate hikes. State Farm has refused.

Dems. Wanna get your polling out of the gutter? Stop talking about redrawing house maps in blue states and do it. Go big. Don't match them seat for seat. Blow them out of the water. Then endorse Mamdani. You're welcome.

The gerrymander in Wisconsin is outrageous.

Of their 8 congressional districts, 2 of them are Democratic. That means 25 percent of their delegation is Democratic when Democrats regularly win 50 percent of the vote in that state.

How can this possibly be allowed?
JD Vance is suddenly opposed to gerrymandering. Someone tell Greg Abbott.

Imagine 67 Democratic Senators and a Democratic House majority.
The House could impeach all corrupt politicians and judges, and the Senate could convict and remove them from their positions. It could be done in a month.

There are so many times this nightmare should’ve been over, but I’ll never get how inciting a violent coup on J6 didn’t lead to a prison term post haste. That fucker should’ve been yanked by the lapels out of the White House, handcuffed, and hauled away that day. Everyone knew he was responsible.

A brief thread or vent.

Mamdani: Save your money. I have +45 favorability with male voters & +73 with men under 45. Endorse me.

Dem Party: No way dude. Now—why is our favorability is -54? Let's spend $20M on wealthy consultants to figure it out!

Our unaccountable Supreme Court gave our unaccountable president the power to effectively end the Department of Education.

And it did so without any explanation because the case came through its secretive shadow docket.

102 Democrats voted yes, including 4 out of the 5 memberships of House Dems's Leadership Team.
