It’s just so clear he wanted to kill her. Like actual self preservation would have meant simply stepping out of the way (which he did). Pulling the trigger wouldn’t make him any safer and he somehow keeps filming the whole time despite (theoretically) fearing for his life.

People are like “she was one of the best political writers of her generation” But how do we know? Her actions with Kennedy mean that she could be completely full of shit. It should color our view of all her previous and future work.
