"but you do you"

Yes! He will do him (post a screenshot of something notable), 3-4 of his 22.7k followers will do themselves (misunderstand and post as if it happened to him) and I will do me (point out that this is all fine)

He doesn't have to do any clarification anyway! It's totally fine as it is!

I'll defend John Schwartz's right to see an image they found shocking and repost it adding a "Holy crap" without having to go into the extra effort of making sure their dimmest followers who don't want to spend 30 seconds of their own time know it was sent to someone else at a different university

She has a weaker moral core than the jewish college students and was bad at the job of sec. of state (a job she only took as a political concession to not try to steal the 08 primaries, so as to burnish her political credentials for her next presidential run which failed and gave us Trump)

There is a group of times reporters that bylined similar stories about Harvard caving a few weeks ago and it turned out they were unfounded and based entirely on WH sources and very possibly planted in an attempt to engineer that exact outcome.

All 3 of them are on this Northwestern piece as well.

I was laughing when he said that because I feel like I remember reading in 2017 that Sanders had the smallest % of supporters defecting to republicans after a democratic primary loss in the decades that they (I think Harvard) had been conducting that particular study

"right half the time, unjustifiably dickish 100% of the time" is the vituperative derb guarantee

Not to mention, if a hypothetical 3rd party were to actually succeed, Duverger's law suggests it'd come at the expense of the incumbent parties (meaning mostly the democrats in this scenario).

There'd be an exodus for the new party and in half a generation it's got the same internal struggles

Your "suburb" was half the distance to the city center as this guy's suburb and your "suburban dad" was a former Cook county prosecutor

There was an amazing story to tell but it wasn't the one you were telling

Why's everybody talking about Wallace Shawn, the voice of the Insultinator?

The album only sold 250 copies, but everyone who bought one started a reply-chain bait bluesky post

I also double space after periods but it's the triple line space after the salutation that seems excessive to me

In my estimation (purely off my head), a typical block (so not a main road like Pulaski/Irving/Montrose/Addison and not a historic one with a bunch of old SFH) maybe has a larger (9-18 unit) apartment building on at least 2 of its 4 corners and the rest is maybe 70-80% 2- and 3-flats, 20-30% SFH.

20th (out of 77) most-dense community area in Chicago. So whatever "suburban feel" might be, if it were to have this, then so does 75% of the 3rd largest city in the US, which does not strike me as sensible.

But this is more arguing than I wanted to do, I thought the number would speak for itself.

I can agree that, in general, some neighborhoods of some cities can have a "suburban feel".

I cannot agree that Irving Park specifically has a suburban feel.

This is informed by my own extensive familiarity with the area (it does not, in fact, "feel suburban" to me).

But also it's the 20th
October 25, 2025 at 8:48 PM
The density figure is for Irving Park because that has well-defined boundaries. As for what sub-neighborhood/district this street is I don't know, I thought it was Old Irving
October 25, 2025 at 8:25 PM
The population density of the neighborhood is 16000 per square mile

I've never seen it in email form before but it's a fairly common tactic in text/messaging apps. The idea is you'll reply, "sorry this isn't Larry, you have the wrong email" or something and then they'll reply something back and then 5 messages later you're wiring them $3000 for crypto or whatever

FWIW Mamdani got 5 times as many votes in his primary as Buttigieg did in those two states combined

I think the larger issue here is that the head of the DSCC is a corrupt and racist hypocrite, so if it seems they are putting their fingers on the scales for someone then that person immediately becomes suspect.

This is an excellent point, the democrats nationally should be supporting candidates in the same mold as popular, winning, Omaha politicians like Megan Hunt and Ernie Chambers

Not sure if this counts since it's a cover version (although I think this version was created for the purpose of being in the film) but it's obviously extremely popular within the fictional universe of the movie

If you could schedule the first three games of the season against a 7-5 P4 team, a 7-5 G5 team, and a 7-5 FCS team, what would be the ideal order?
