Congrats to all of this year's #ALAyma winners! There are several I haven't read. My interlibrary loan list just got quite a bit longer.

A year ago Vincent was living outside in a colony of strays and ferals. Now he's living his best life, snoring and sprawling across his favorite armchair.

Currently reading STARFISH by Lisa Fipps after it was recommended to me. This is the second novel in verse I've read in a row. I love how much more prevalent verse has become for young readers. When I read OUT OF THE DUST as a kid, it seemed so out of the norm.

I finished reading @katemessner.com 's THE TROUBLE WITH HEROES last night. This book is a superb examination of moving through grief. Highly recommend for middle schoolers. It hits hard, in a good way. The last time I cried reading a book was A MONSTER CALLS.
