Is there anyone highlighting the inclusion of language, amending an entirely different law, to allow Senators to sue the Government for $500,000 for having their phone records subpoenaed during the Jan 6th investigations? See section 213 in HR5371.

This is looking like a catalyst intended to bring the entire 14th amendment in front of Scotus, so they can ultimately rule it unconstitutional and therefore get rid of all of the equality and privacy based rulings over the past 50 years in one fell swoop...

Expect now to see random violent acts perpetrated all over the country in the name of Trump. Now that he's shown he'll wipe away convictions as long as things were done in his name, people will come out of the woodwork to curry his favor while having their own fun... :-(

Without actually pressing the archivist to update the document, is this actually anything more than a pandering post? But on the other hand, how could ANY constitutional amendment have a time limit imposed on the ratification? It's a living document, with an implied perpetual effect.
