Making an area more mobile for adults WILL make it more mobile for youths. Where we see the most fleshed out transit systems we often see kids being taught how to use it properly and safely. Because the transit is well developed overall, making it function well will lead to people adopting it.

So whatever federal funds are dispersed while often covering a large chunk of the cost is still being made up for by the state/locality and we can a basic idea of just how much more train projects generally are for the public.

About the worst (weirdest?) part was the random pairs of guys in military gear doing absolutely nothing. Along with the seemingly empty humvee right out front in a walking area maybe 100 feet from the "F*ck Trump" tents. There were still tour buses and the humvee is what was scaring people not DC.

Should know 2 things in transportation. 1 - you aren't going to ban cars anywhere in America probably ever. 2 - banning cars isn't the proper way to go about it or talk about goals related go transportation because of how easily that is misinterpreted.

I think someone who boils their take on transportation to 'ban cars' have only a passing interest in. I know very few people who would say this because anyone actually talking about decreasing car traffic doesnt go around just suggesting a ban on cars because thats silly. Anyone interested...

So nowadays, the racists, sexists, homophobes, transphobes, etc, they dont have to defend their words or actions cause they're just joking around and you're the bad guy for bringing it up. So they get to claim they don't even believe it but can spew it all day long.

So around other men, you tend to accept that "boys will be boys" mentality so broadly that suddenly your friends are ACTUALLY using slurs or whatever. You don't know what to do either cause they're your friends but you know they're wrong. If you bring it up you'll be killing the vibe and ostracized
