I just want to get through it (he/him)
Media I plan on catching up on in 2026:
Mass Effect (currently replaying 1 so I should get through the rest within the next month)
Resident Evil (played the first 2 remakes so far)
Avatar TLA
One Piece anime
The Owl House
Arrowverse (and related DC TV series)
Farscape

Side note: Sinatra’s mom Natalina “Dolly” Garaventa, a midwife by trade, ran an underground free abortion clinic, chained herself to a fence to fight for women’s suffrage and was an extremely influential organizer for the Democratic Party

Okay I decided to check and the Thai IS subtitled but only when the captions are off!
😒
I hate having sound processing issues because between shitty audio mixing and rushed captions I never know if I'm actually getting what I'm supposed to!

In short:

• you should check out the short stories (www.exodusgame.com/en-US/prologue)
• can't wait for the game to finally drop in 2 years and flop spectacularly

decades or even centuries could pass between visiting a hub world? Will every named NPC be replaced by a randomly generated descendant dedicated to carrying on their ancestor's unfinished quest line?
It's a cool storytelling tool, but until now it's primarily used in non-interactive mediums.

The game clearly intends to be Mass Effect again, written by the same guy and you can see all the pieces in the trailers.
But how will that translate to gameplay when a central idea of THIS version is the impacts of massive time dilation?
How will the exploration mechanics work when potentially...

While I understand the physical run was a limited offer I simply do not get why WotC hasn't released a digital version, especially considering they relied on the audience finding them 3 years before the game is supposed to release!
And now we get to the big thing stuck in my head:

rather than being the usual compact 200 page tie-in by a mercenary writer who writes like 20 licenced novels a year, the novel is nearly 900 pages, was very positively received, and feels like it could be used to bludgeon a man to death.
I'm less positive on the subject of the RPG books.
