Pros and cons of changing the art style during the prototyping phase:

Cons:
- Takes away precious dev time
- Sprites will change again later, so this won't impact the final product at all
- It won't look that much better since I'm bad at art

Pros:
+ I wanna do it

Verdict: I'm doing it.

Okay, I made a single sprite and got it out of my system. I can go back to work on my other game now lol

The hardest part of game development is that constant nagging voice in the back of your head saying, "Stop working on your current project and make a game with Disco Elysium's narrative structure but it's about a young witch finding her neighbor's cat in the alps."
