He/Him
Its all just bullshit. The right wants to act like they are the "responsible" ones and that people should take "responsibility" by pulling themselves up by their bootstraps. But God forbid a white guy take responsibility for himself whenever a black woman gets a job he wanted.

The process for these prestigious law schools are even crazier! While this theoretical 23-year-old was allegedly being marginalized by minority groups, was he doing volunteer work in his community? Did he lead clubs, run fundraisers, play sports, learn a 2nd language, win awards?

There are so many factors that go into college acceptance that trying to reduce it to "test scores and DEI" is at best stupid and ignorant, and at worst deliberately misleading. I had to send 2 essays, standardized test scores, GPA, extracurricular info, and more for a state school.

Finally, the whole "not getting into college even though he had better test scores" is just so wild. I knew straight white dudes who barely cracked 20 on their ACT who made it into college (in some cases, with scholarships!). But let's ignore that and assume Ivy League (since he said law).

I had teachers and professors who acknowledged that this country has done terrible things, but there is so much that was never covered in our curriculum- Tulsa massacre, "American Frontier Wars", etc.

Never once was I told that America was "evil". In fact, I grew up close to Hermitage, where the historic home of Andrew Jackson is located. We went on field trips there and talked a lot about him. I wasn't aware of even half of the heinous shit he did to indigenous groups.

After struggling through high school, college, and the first year of my career, I finally went to a doctor and got a 2nd diagnosis as an adult and was finally able to do something about it. It wasn't because I was an "active boy", its because I have fucked up brain chemistry.

Also, I was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age, but due to assholes (like this guy) who like to perpetuate this myth of overdiagnosing children, my parents were too scared to treat me in any way.

I did, however, have family members and people I went to church with tell me to "be careful" when I started dating a black girl because dating outside of your race is wrong. I was 12 at the time. Weirdly enough nobody acknowledged the existence or plight of trans people.

I am a straight, cis, white, male, and my experience was nothing like this at all. Literally no one ever told me I was any of those things because of that.
