Having office spaces where people are located physically close, biases the employee demographic towards people that prefer large cities etc. I don’t have a good solution unfortunately. I 100% recognise the problem with this trade off.

And this is not just for RTO policies. If the company is global and you work in global teams, it really does not make much sense to go the office for long virtual sessions. But the absence of physically being present with _people_ hurts anyway

I work hybrid and that is sorta ok. My family life loves the flexibility of saving the commute, but my social capacity does not. Being in the office can be great, but it can be really frustrating to then go to the office only to find it mostly with people in calls.

This looks like a promising way to explore! Thanks for the tip!

Fantastic ressource, Kent. Resonates well with my view. Great work putting this down in words - especially the in-depth descriptions on the site.

Of course, James! I always appreciate your content

Hi James! As always, sterling content. Many of the links are QR codes. Do you have them as direct links as well, or is there some QR magic I have to know to use the link directly from the slides?

Sorry for digging through this and thanks for taking the time to reply! How would a purge work, if I had removed my self-hosted PDS? Would you reconstruct the parent links to the next existing link in the chain in case of a purge? Like it would appear as if you were taking with yourself here?

What is user data? All posts - or replies as well? Like for instance this thread here? If we both had a pda.

And thanks for the reply!

are replies then stored on your own personal data server, or how do you avoid corruption of the threads when a server is removed from network?

How do you avoid link rot, when domains are removed/cancelled?
