Look at my fancy new fridge that I got from #LowesHomeImprovement! Oh wait, you can’t, because it wasn’t delivered. Instead it was marked as canceled by the delivery company, and at 1 pm the store told me it can’t be rescheduled for delivery today (despite still being on the delivery truck).

I am realizing, after going back as an adult, that having my childhood science museum be the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry (@msichicago.bsky.social) really set me up for a lifetime of museum-related disappointment.
