“A beautifully touching story”

I’ll Give You The Sun was so much more than I expected. This novel was perfect!

Although there is plenty of heartache, these moments are balanced out with such pure joy. I just couldn’t put the book down.

5⭐️ Review: Missing You Harlan Coben

“A gripping thriller”

Missing You had me hooked to the very end. This novel was much darker than I expected from the other books / TV shows I know by Coben, but I loved it.
The twists and turns kept coming and the explosive ending was edge-of-my-seat reading.

If you like non-stop action, with a rom-com story arc and a load of laughs along the way, you’ll love this.. it’s the spiciest thing you’ll ever read!

3⭐️ Review: The Perfect Parents by J.A. Baker

“A mixed bag”

This book was a mixed bag for me. At first it felt like a lot of hot air, but by half-way through, things did get going.

I wouldn’t say any of the twists surprised me, though.
Overall, entertaining enough to read.

I might have only read three books in January, but I really enjoyed all three of them. 📚❤️

“Non-Stop drama”

I enjoyed this fast paced novel. There were so many secrets between the large cast of characters, which kept the whodunnit going right until the end.

I was dissapointed with the underwhelming ending - but overall, a great book.

5⭐️ Review: Bonehead by Mo Hayder

“Edge of your seat suspense”

I loved the mix of urban legend wrapped up in gritty crime that Hayder writes so well. The book was full of suspense and shock that left me guessing until the last chapter.

I’ve just finished watching Smoggie Queens on BCC - and am desperately hoping it’ll come back for another series 🤞🏼
