My preference would be to keep PG. Butler’s injuries last year and just straight up quitting on his team this year are big red flags in my opinion

My best guess would be that it boils down to draft capital being used to acquire Pickett. Likely means he’s the permanent QB2 regardless of how bad he is or continues to be

The Smitty drop definitely sucked, but the passing game was basically non-existent prior to that because Pickett can’t make pre-snap reads or deliver balls accurately and on time

Defense definitely struggled once CJ got ejected, but they were also on the field the entire second half because Pickett couldn’t move the chains on offense. He absolutely cannot be the backup QB going forward

No way Pickett is a top 64 QB in the league

Been wanting to see McKee myself. We‘ve seen Pickett plenty on the Steelers and in the preseason. He’s awful and can singlehandedly lose you a game
