How often do other genres of film overlap with horror, using Netflix's film library?

An infographic on Lung Cancer in the UK, using information from Cancer Research UK. Top left: How many men and women get lung cancer per year? 91 men in every 100,000 and 70 women in every 100,000. Top right: How old are people at diagnosis? Peak for women is 75 to 79. Peak for men is 85 to 89. Under 50s make up around 2.3% of all new diagnoses. 50-59s are approx 9, 60-69s are 25%, and over 70s make up 63% of all new diagnoses. Bottom left: How much more risk do people living in deprivation have? As the deprivation quintile increases (more deprivation), relative risk of lung cancer increases. Individuals with the greatest level of deprivation are at 2.7x greater risk than those with the least deprivation, using age-adjusted incidence rates. The use of generative AI tools by students in tertiary education (college/university) is commonplace, but the way they are being used is for more than just text generation.

Information on current use of generative AI tools by college/university students in their academic works. Split by subject area, the greatest percentage of AI users are in Engineering, followed by the Arts, Math and Natural Sciences, Humanities, Law, economics and social sciences, and lastly Medical sciences. 47% of students surveyed think AI has had a positive impact on their learning. If their institute prohibited the use of generative AI, 75% of regular users would keep using it, and 50% of non-regular users would keep using it. Among the tasks students use generative AI for the most common are: explanation and clarification, research and development, text processing and text creation, exam preparation, and simulation and modelling. Data come from a survey of German university students (von Garrell & Mayer, 2023) and a survey organised by TurnItIn via Tyton Partners.
