I also don't get the "why isn't the CEO getting any flak?!" narrative. Every single time I've heard this story referenced, its been along the lines of "that CEO caught cheating on the jumbotron" etc. The cheating part is wrong, but both of them reacted incredibly weirdly & that was the story.

I just don't understand how a person makes the jump from seeing the video of this random person and going from "hah, thats pretty funny", to "this woman must pay, and I will deliver the retribution."

I wasn't definitely stating that she received threats from 1-2 people, I meant that relative to the masses of people criticizing her, the amount of people taking it that far are a drop in the bucket. Most criticism was in good faith, but anyone threatening a stranger for what she did is a psycho.

I'm not dismissing anything, I believe her if she says she got death threats, and obviously ANY person doing that is wrong and unhinged. I'm just not sure why you're speaking as if you have inside knowledge on her situation. Doesn't matter though, the threats were wrong, her public shaming isn't.
