Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry
Pub date: out now
Thoughts: 🫣 this might be a hot take, but I think this book is The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo for straight people. Listen. I love EmHen, and the cover of this one is gorgeous. It wasn't bad, I just felt like I'd read the plot before. 💖

Hot Hex Boyfriend by Carly Bloom
Pub date: out now
Thoughts: It was a fun read! I did think more was going on with some characters than there actually was, which then led me to consider their potential underdeveloped. But it was a magical sexy dual POV with some secret fairy tricksies to boot ✨️🧚🏼‍♀️

Deep End by Ali Hazelwood
Pub date: out now
THIS👏 ONE👏 SLAPPED👏 (in a consensual way). I was nervous about the content, but I shouldn't have been. Also, Olive and Adam are tertiary characters in it, and that honestly sold the book for me. 'The Love Hypothesis' is one of my faves. Good job, Deep End🙌

The Bones Beneath My Skin by TJ Klune
Pub Date: out now
I fucking adore TJ and really liked this one, though, it did start super angry in a way that was probably cathartic, but also like an open wound. The story made me laugh, sob, and celebrate for Artemis, Nate, and Alex's cross-country journey🌈✨️

Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros
Pub Date: Out now
Unpopular Opinion: I got this & started the day it came out and *just* finished. There were a lot of names that, for the life of me, I just couldn't retain, and the cliffhanger didn't hit. I'll read the next one, but this one was meh for me. Sorry, fam💖

When Amazon launched in 1995, there were 5,500 indie bookshops in the U.S., with 7,000 locations. By May of 2023, that number had decreased to 2,185 indies & 2,599 locations.

When you purchase audiobooks via Libro.fm vs. Audible, you directly support indie bookshops. Let's make that number grow ❤️

The Baby Dragon Cafe by A. T. Qureshi ☕️
Pub Date: out now
While I had some reservations at points, reading a book about baby dragons akin to puppies was super cute. I liked that the FMC is confident in her abilities yet still susceptible to others' opinions bc who isn't? Did I mention baby dragons 🥹

Look at this gorgeous UK cover. So excited for this to be in the world. Women who cultivate magic through their flower farm. Second chance romance. Buried secrets. A spelled heart. March 2025!

Upon A Starlit Tide by Kell Woods 🌊
Pub Date: Feb 18, 2025
Thoughts: I absolutely loved this one! It felt like an old fairytale made new, combining pieces from different stories and folklore to make something original and extraordinary. Tbh, I wish the baddie(s) had suffered more, but c'est la vie 😉

But Not Too Bold by H. Pueyo 🕷
Pub date: Feb 11, 2025
Thoughts: I figured out semi-recently that I am not a monster girly, and uhhhh, I don't like spiders. So a book with a massive arachnid looking for romance probably wasn't going to be my cup of tea... 😅🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm sure it will be loved by others 💖

New here! I'm thinking I'll use this account as a way to post about the books I read that don't get showcased on my literary podcast Novel Finds (i.e. fun reads and ARCs that don't require a full review)✨️
