Doesn’t this aircraft have a history known for “issues” especially in the 70-90s? I recall a couple of deadly commercial accidents with this type being mechanical issues. I could be wrong but I thought it played a part in MD decline, and why it no longer flies commercially?

Is it teasing when it’s already leaked? lol Maybe they are just embarrassing it. Especially given it’s only a day since “alleged” release.

There are YouTube channels that will actually post ATC yelling at pilots for going to slow , and causing go arounds they sometimes have to issue. It’s quite interesting.

and you wouldn’t believe the amount of go around that happened on a daily basis.That’s actually what made me comfortable flying because I saw how well trained these pilots are and although it’s jarring it happens. Some of this go arounds would happen couple hundred feet from the runway.

I agree ATC has staffing issues 💯 no doubt! But sometimes things like that aren’t ATC related. A pilot just doesn’t exit the runway fast enough, a grounds truck doesn’t clear the runway fast enough or even an animal on the field. I use to work at DCA & IAD (national airport AND Dulles ) …
