Yeh your sheet has macros or formatting in that won't be preserved to csv that's normal. Basically ya got summat special / funky in ya sheet that's fucking you over or on ya system

Well I just tested it on latest excel and works fine no conversions / weirdness what shows in excel is the Cs so something special either with your sheet or your computer setting are not default

Ouch 2 in row and on call after isn't good. I've been lucky that I've maamegd to work with my team usually to cover / try and minimise impact eg take a day each work or if someone wanted to do it all they get first dibs on holiday time given saving us. Always been the shit on fire call life though.

Home made or shop bought?

Guess it's an option if he wants. I'd be using it as a tool to get stuff at other times of year when you want it and also depends on your employment contract your grounds to argue etc. I've done on call and cover over holidays before it's the life of tech folk.
January 6, 2026 at 9:26 PM
Guess ya got 11 months to plan and prepare for this

Forget crusing with Jane it's Cruising with Terry
January 6, 2026 at 9:03 PM
Exactly! We've got residents bringing in 1970s gas bottle fires which is slightly concerning given they are not the best in this day and age with naked flames, the amount of moisture they generate, fume risk etc...

Sounds about the norm sadly! They design them to be left on 24x7 so I was told originally by my landlord. Was possibly logical when electric was cheap but now 😳
January 6, 2026 at 11:07 AM
Very much standard for all the flats they build now it's the bare minimum to make the required box tick under regs very sadly!

Often not adjacent but part of the drama for sure!

January 3, 2026 at 9:30 PM
Why?
January 3, 2026 at 9:29 PM
When it's full of trash and mess in summer and half the city comes to it so you can barely move as its only green space we have and locked down at prime time in summer you'll tire of it sadly 👀😂😭
