He's supposed to be a professional law enforcement officer. If that event traumatized him so much that he is unable to follow policy or causes him to overreact, then he should not be allowed to operate with a firearm

If those payments are coming out of funds for BAH, which is a non-taxable allowance and being disbursed as a "bonus", that will make those 1776$ payments taxable. What a bonus!
