Husband, father, grandfather, friend, companion, and confidant. Searcher for honesty, unbeliever of lies.
For everyone who voted against a female for president, and thought the guy in office was too old, addle minded, auto penned everything, and slept through meetings:

Just how is the 79 year old, befuddled, narcoleptic, mentally deficient, insane pedophile protecting guy who doesn't know anyone doing?

Trump got presidential immunity AFTER his term, so it's retroactive. Every president after him enjoys the same immunity. So, if crimes were committed during the Obama & Biden admins, he has nothing to prosecute. Unless his lawyers want to argue that no such immunity exists. Hmmm, if so...

Karoline Leaving would have us believe that meetings in the WH Situation Room show transparency. Transparent about Trump trying to cover everything up? So, is it transparent or not? If not, we now know where he's putting the new indoor cee-ment pond, in time for his fishing expeditions.

I wonder if there are any words that come before "We hold these truths to be self evident.."?
When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bonds which have connected them to another...
Just a reminder of what 2026 is the 250th anniversary about.

Please don't refer to us as Marxists, fascists, Communists, Socialists, freaks, idiots, criminals, the radical left, nut jobs, etc. Just call us by what we really are...

Demoncrats.

After all, we don't go around calling you Pedophile Protecting extreme right, MAGA Republicans in return, do we?

About this Compromise Plan...why did Democrats fire federal employees, try to defund SNAP, decide to not vote on a budget, cause a shutdown, try to get rid of Social Security and the ACA, and not release the Epstein files in the first place?

Wait, that wasn't the Democrats?

My bad...
November 12, 2025 at 4:38 PM
This latest shutdown seems to show: when you think Trump's gone as low as possible he'll go lower, Republicans will promise the sky because they have no intention of delivering, and Democrats don't really care about anything other than making it look like they care just to keep the status quo.
November 12, 2025 at 3:35 PM
So Federal employees can go back to work...and women's rights will be restored, elections will be fair even with gerrymandering, veterans will be treated with respect, children and the poor won't suffer, we'll start taxing fairly, etc., etc., etc.! Oh, and maybe one day, oil and water will mix.
November 12, 2025 at 3:28 PM
Okay, you've convinced me, let's see what happens... I'm not going to cut Social Security, I'm going to bring prices down and end a war on day 1, I'm not going to go after my political opponents, I'm going to release the Epstein files. Uh, can you remind me what I should be convinced about?

Tariffs only work if you produce what is being taxed as an alternative. Maybe candles light up the outside as well as electric lights until it rains or the wind blows. Maybe unicorns are only horses with an odd haircut. Maybe we can negotiate in good faith with people who don't honor their word?
November 12, 2025 at 3:14 PM
You know, there were people during the American Revolution that wanted the less extremes between George III and John Adams. They said maybe we should negotiate and hopefully the tyrant will ease up on some of the despicable actions that he took to cause the problem. What ever happened to the Tories?
November 12, 2025 at 3:07 PM
Open message to Lawrence O'Donnell (MSNBC): Maybe we should cut bait with 6% of the country, ACA, recipients...or pregnant women... veterans...SNAP payments... seniors... because the current Republican Party has a solid record in honoring promises? Maybe we could, until what is left to sacrifice?
November 12, 2025 at 3:00 PM
Sorry if my last post was too sarcastic. Maybe at some point in an imaginary future, The Republicans will honor their part of the bargain. Look at their track record, oh, wait - ! Meanwhile, health care costs will outpace any return from cuts to SS and SNAP. Way to take note of elections results.
November 11, 2025 at 8:21 PM
Democrats just gave up. "Hey, you know the high ground that we currently occupy? Let's give it to the other side, then count on them messing up again!",said no general...ever. I feel bad for the unpaid fed. emp. out paychecks. DJT.won't run to the courts for an injunction for what he gave up, right
November 11, 2025 at 8:14 PM
Who sees this: SOTHOR Johnson installs the newest member of Congress, then, overburdened by his strenuous efforts to protect Trumpocracy, sends everyone home for the holidays early, before any other business can be brought to the floor.
Anyone?
The shutdown is over, Rs will keep their word, right?

Economic indicators may project strength on paper, but consumers are not feeling it
.
This comment, taken directly from an article for Politico, is why Republicans have hope for '26... repeat a lie often enough, it will be the truth. The economic indicators mentioned are supplied by Trump's minins

The preliminary reviews are in. When corporate profits drop because a company bends its knee to political pressure, the decision is reversed. All is safe...for now. Once it's a distant memory, the original intent is implemented quietly without the public knowing it. Pave paradise, put up a parkinglt

Isn't it funny how not seeking reelection, having a stranglehold constituency, and/or not having to be campaigning for another 3-4 years loosens tongues to speak out against losing 1st Amendment rights? From those needing Donald's blessing to be reelected? *Cricket chirping noise*
September 27, 2025 at 1:27 AM
I can't wait for drug prices to come down. After all, Donald said he'll make the manufacturers accept lower profits by making medicine affordable for all. He's the only president who...what, are you telling me that it was the Biden admin that did that? Terrible left wing fascists lowering profits...
September 27, 2025 at 1:19 AM
Just checking in, how are those tariffs going? While we suffer short term pain of higher prices and lower availability, we should be seeing all those countries paying them caving in, shouldn't we? Wait, other countries aren't affected? Then who is paying...OOOHHHHHH!!!
September 27, 2025 at 1:13 AM
Dumb Donald is so dumb...How dumb? His billionaire friends got that way by turning U.S. companies into global conglomerates, then pissing off world leaders and advocating closed borders crashes our ability to survive what used to be ours squeezing us dry from corporate has in for example, Moscow?
September 27, 2025 at 1:08 AM
How long can the U.S. survive the MAGA ostrich that runs things? It seems the only freedom we enjoy is to be gunned down in a mass shooting. To ride ourselves into being a third world country. To grin stupidly and bear it meekly, or the Great Orange Father will deport you for not praising him. Well?

Before you know it, we may have our first coast to coast railroad. Imagine a Union Pacific/CSX merger. Who wants to ship on 2 roads, BNSF and NS, when Union Pacific System , UPSX, can handle it. Where will shipping fees go? Up. Profits for the few? Up. Prices of goods for everyone else? Up.
September 27, 2025 at 12:53 AM
How easy is it now for fuel companies to dictate prices and behavior? Fewer companies, fewer production facilities, lower storage capacity, less competition. I wonder if coal would have died so quickly if PETROLEUM companies were forbidden from purchasing coal companies and reserves.
September 27, 2025 at 12:38 AM
The fallout over Jimmy Kimmel reinforces my theory that bigger isn't always better. Our fragile food production chain has become that way because companies merge for the profit of those at the top end of the pay scale. Those at the bottom are less secure in the ability to afford living essentials.
