This could be half the flash games I played back in the 2010s. I have many images come to mind, but not names.

This is something I have to figure out, since most other communities I've been in have had very strict rules against 'self-promotion'. As in, most don't allow it, and those that do keep it to one thread or channel that will end up looking mostly identical because you can't actually discuss it there.

It can also be quite frightening to make something, put it out there, and then have no one even touch it.
There is a certain dread to having heard nothing but "well, I'll get to it eventually" for a long time and wonder why nobody will say anything else.

Don't forget the part where you need to fire, I mean, lay off several entry level workers so that there's room in budget for that bonus.

I could talk about both games for hours, but the second especially is something special among games. I literally wrote a paper about the game for a literature class in college.

Well, good luck with it then. It's got a lot of interesting things to talk about that you don't see in many works, even outside of video games, even if you can see the cracks that are left from Obsidian getting the short stick on development time.

I'm sure a lot of people will tell you that KOTOR 2 is a pretty famous outlier of a rushed out game, but it does exemplify the point pretty well.

That's actually pretty much what I try to do. First hour of the day is work, at minimum.

Not the best now that I have a job that starts earlier than I usually wake up, sadly, but I'm still trying to make it work otherwise.

If the descriptions come from a certain character's POV, then it can be very interesting even if we already see what they describe. Personal views can lead to insight and humor when the POV character has an opinion.

Another from the list that could work, though I mostly just want to see people see the title of this thing:

I immediately look at my playlist for music while I'm writing.
A really easy pick(s) is the Death Note soundtrack. Really nice pieces for keeping me in a writing mood.
