“Nice people made the best Nazis..

They got along, refused to make waves, looked the other way when things got ugly and focused on happier things than “politics.”

They were lovely people who turned their heads as their neighbors were dragged away.

You know who weren’t nice people?

Resisters.”

Also, if you experienced violence at work this week or witnessed a colleague being hurt I hope you’re okay and I’m sorry that happened to you.

I’d also like to add:

4) when can you return to the room/role, there’s no one to cover for you

In the not too distant past, in addition to appropriate paperwork, arrangements would be made to seek medical care. Now it’s expected you pull yourself together and get back in there.

For me, one of the hardest parts is that usually starving the public education system would be seen as a failure for the education minister but it‘s quite possibly the goal. Public education‘s failure is a win for some in the private sector and for those who fail to see its long term investment.

Yes, a thousands times yes to all of your points. However the ministry of education is invested in sinking public education and redirecting those public dollars to those donors. from what I heard today, they’ll use the results to take over more boards instead of addressing….

Thank you. The fact that both were reelected is such a gross reflection of our times, both the apathy of those that didn’t vote or didn’t care enough about those negatively impacted by such a vote. Then there are those excited to see them continue their unprecedented “transparency.” Worst timeline.
