Thoroughbred speculator.
Trying some goofy-ass TikTok high protein muffin recipe. I didn't read the comments about what horseshit it was until after paying $15 for almond flour, so I'm trying it anyway.

Former Sharks prospect* Thomas Bordeleau with 2 goals in 28 games for Utica this year. Stick a fork in him.

*in the sense that when the team had no prospects he was considered one by default

Coco Abarrio is a nice little horse coming back this weekend after five months off. Looked to be ready to fire in 12/31 work on tape.

Good thing about the Steelers making the playoffs is we get to see the Houston defense feast on the QB

Just starting the Avalanche-Hurricanes game and it didn't even occur to me this would be a Nordiques-Whalers sweater matchup. Hell yeah.

Pretty sure that Seattle defender made sure to land on Jennings like that. Because Jennings is a ho.

Into the personal stable. Will be more developed when making 2yo debut. Especially a big factor if it's early in the season.

If there is one guy William Eklund is offended was named to Team Sweden over him specifically, it's Pontus Holmberg. And they fave each other now with Tampa in town.

I also wrote this today about Igor Chernyshov making the Sharks a likely playoff team.

Igor Chernyshov Accelerates the Sharks’ Timeline
The San Jose Sharks began this season with another long losing streak, but since then really turned it around and have spent considerable time now occupying a wild card position in the standings. D…

Alex Wennberg Is Ambivalent About Staying in San Jose, At Best
One of my biggest frustrations with living in the world is how so many people cannot communicate basic things accurately, and also cannot decipher plain language directed their way. Like, a customer of my business placed an order on New Year's Eve. We had provided a quote to provide three things, with prices for each clearly listed. The big item was about $3,500, and the other two were $750 and $200.

Kyle Shanahan is ready for the playoffs.
---> CHI (35) @ SF (35) <---
SF has 4th & 7 at the CHI 43, Q4 11:30

Recommendation (STRONG): 👉 Go for it (+2.8 WP)
Actual play: 🏈🦵 T.Morstead punts 32 yards to CHI 11, Center-J.Weeks, fair catch by D.Duvernay.

Mitch Marner doesn't seem like he's having a good time. Like he thought getting out of Toronto would make him like playing hockey again, but he's learned that wasn't it. #VegasBorn

I live in downtown San Jose where there is considerable outside noise at times. My cats never pay any mind to sudden blasts of noise. Except they pick their heads up and look around at a goal horn from hockey on TV. I watch TV at a pretty low volume, too.

It looks to me like the Cash Run Stakes is a good opportunity to beat both Saffie Joseph runners, who I figure will be the top two choices on the board.
The Cash Run Stakes is a Good Betting Race
There aren't many 7-horse fields that can be considered a good betting race. After my first look at the Cash Run Stakes, the 8th from Gulfstream on New Year's Day, I didn't think it would buck the trend. I nearly decided to just take #6 JETTY'S HOME as my pick in Pick 'n' Pray tournaments as the "other Saffie" and move on with my life.

For non-French people sharing tributes to Brigitte Bardot: for context, she was a long-time supporter of Marine Le Pen, leader of the National Rally, France’s main far-right party, and later of Éric Zemmour (even further right). And she was convicted for incitement to racial hatred.

Rich Eisen is pretty shitty at play-by-play. Many parallels with Greg Gumbel.
