Ooh, a gushu hongcha? What does that taste like? For some reason I thought gushu was just for Puer.

You should quit now

Some amount of it is the tariffs. I bulk-bought a lot of tea from China right after the election, for instance, so now I don't need to buy more for a while. Part of it is that a lot of people are out of work now or expecting to lose their jobs, and in general, many are saving for an economic crash

Can anyone explain what #3E means? I'm seeing it everywhere but haven't found anything besides D&D references when I try to research it

With Manchin and Sinema gone, he sees this as his opportunity at power and leverage. Become the democratic holdout who is a wildcard and everyone pays attention to. But with Dems in the minority, and little hope of retaking it before he's up for reelection, his posturing won't get him much leverage

Do you ever carry yellow tea? I want to try it, but I rarely see them and don't know what's good.

He also is a true believer in some really fucked-up ideas that even Shitler stays away from. And I think he's likelier to "keep the country together" through cruelty, violence, oppression. Some empires took centuries to actually fall, we could see a pattern like that.

One that seems most likely scares me the most: Shitler either dies or gets 25th ammendmented out, leaving ol' couch-fucker in charge. He's young, smarter that shitler, and focused more on the agenda than on his own ego. He's the one that Thiel and Musk really wanted to elevate

Could you explain indirect costs? What were they before, and how does this impact jobs like yours?

This is how you build brand loyalty. Thanks Paul, I'm glad to see it's not all about the money for everyone out there. I'll keep ordering even though I'm sitting on a metric ton of tea already.

Me too! That looks like Tiltshift, but a bamboo variety? Can't wait for this one to hit the shop!

I only did the last part, and now I'm doom-scrolling while amped up on Tiltshift

This looks like just the kind of book on ancient mesopotamia I have been wanting to read!

Yet I'm sure he'll sail through to nomination in spite of your hand-wringing. True action is only called for in case of real emergencies, like needing to censor the speech of 170M Americans so Meta's stock will go up. I won't forget how you showed your true colors.

Do something to mitigate the risks of domestically-owned apps first. Make the case for why you think TikTok is so much worse than meta or x without making vague allusions to security concerns only you and your pals are privy to. We're fed up with that patriarchal bullshit

Are the golden leaves selected in processing, or is there a varietal that produces more of them? Or is it more bud-heavy than other black teas? I am guessing the gold is from trichomes? Haven't tried yours yet, looks delicious

Have you ever thought of releasing some kind of advent calendar full of minis? I'd buy that

I'm not in a great headspace- the fundamentals of life are good, but everything feels very precarious, and emigrating is becoming a more real possibility every day. Glad to have good tea on hand for a little escape when it's needed.

Also, what parent ever said "I want my kid to sleep less than I do"?

Dude is literally just outlining the plot of GATTACA. We might have some of the tech to do some of those things, but the idea that we are on the brink of being able to select our baby characteristics from a menu is a huge leap. Not only scientifically, but also socially.
