The huge dip in quality from Shrek 2 to Shrek the Third needs to be studied. Shrek 3 refuses to take its time with…anything? Breakneck pace, underdeveloped characters, heavy handed joke per minute increase, and a general lack of sincerity?? It plays ok ish if you think of it as a spin off tv show
