The Wisconsin statute is plain. You cannot offer anything of value to any elector to dissuade or induce them to vote. Period. It prohibits the same with respect to going to the polls for a particular candidate. There’s no innocent explanation for what Musk is doing now to get voters to the polls.

As an American who has lived a lifetime in northern New England, Vermont/Maine, I can’t really put into words how this makes me feel.
The level of betrayal by my government is off the charts.
I should’ve moved to Canada when I had the star on my license!
