I complain about finals week for a bit, but the payoff is an excellent story of joyriding, cigarette smoking, and drug sales. Hop in the car with us like it’s 1999!

Sometimes you need to write stupid shit to wake your brain up. You probably shouldn't let others read it, though, but whatever, man. I do what I want.Finals Week!? Thankfully, I’m a Lifetime Student, so I Got It

Finals Week!? Thankfully, I’m a Lifetime Student, so I Got It
I’m tackling finals week and my brain is on standby, so I decided to write to wake it up. Scattered nonsense about Afro-Latin Americans, cold national parks, tiny dogs, and more!

I've been to some places but have never made my way to the Smithsonian. I didn't think there would come a time when it would be too late. I may have been wrong.

Spring Break and I: It’s Complicated
Even though I didn’t start college until my thirties, Spring break had always been a nice experience. While I never cared for going and partying, my wife and I would plan a few activities for the week, typically some overdue things around the house and smoking way too much pot (Just me, Mrs. Cassidy plays it straight). Needless to say, I would play with dogs, hang out with my wife, and refresh.

Writing About Loss is Harder than it Should Be Sometimes
Writing about other people's experiences with individual loss is exhausting, but unfortunately, it’s becoming a more regular occurrence in my journey through school. Part of me loves how cathartic it feels, but papers are due when they’re due, and sometimes opening old wounds hurts. When it happens, it’s involuntary. You don’t get to choose; you just have to teach yourself to put your head down and go.
