Online games are usually buggy without a day one patch. If it’s single player, then you can wait like 3 days, it’s not like you’re gonna fall behind in a competitive scene.
I get its sketchy to prey on hype to squeeze some extra $ but I’ve never found getting a game early an enticing offer

And honestly, I think that’s fine. You can’t make somebody enjoy something, and if redesigns changed what made them originally fall in love with that franchise, they’re allowed to not like it and express their criticisms just as much as those who do appreciate the newer redesigns.

For stuff like Transformers, it’ll always garner hate/disinterest with every new revision as fans attach themselves to the version they’re most familiar with, so when a new series or film is released with new designs, it’s no longer their preferred style…

I've been using my Steam Controller to play Disco Elysium as well as Fallout 1&2 and it's been really nice. I don't think there's a more comfortable way of playing point-and-click games on a couch and tv setup.
