Can we talk market applications? It's apply season but with the tariffs and recession predicted within 6months are we really applying now for $350++markets that are in the fall? I am scared, that's $ if a recession is in full and no one is shopping. Are we doing last minute this year? I do pottery.

Another frog gnome!! Every year I do a different gnome variation. In 2023 it was mushroom gnomes, in 2024 was frog gnomes! I'm working on 2025's gnome...

Re: Market application season... how do you decide which markets to apply to, and how do you decide how many markets to apply too?
I sell #pottery so I don't want to over commit or waste time at markets that are not a good fit as ceramics are a PROCESS! (and I have a job and family, etc,)

I think today might be the day I start making some pottery again! I had a little break after my last holiday show... but I'm kinda feeling that itch to make stuff! Work got canceled due to the extreme cold so I am home unexpectedly! 😄 Here's a picture of one of my gnome tic tac toe boards! #pottery

Currently feels like -38... but it's only getting colder... yuk. Schools close here at -35 withiut windchill. Or -45 with windchill... will it be an extra extra long weekend?? (Friday was no school due to a blizzard)

Tik tok without the Americans is kinda fun... (sorry to my usa friends, i do miss you!) but... we are measuring things properly with metric (no 3 football fields), there's soooo much more art on my fyp. My video views might be down, but engagement is waaayyy higher!

A contender for the ugliest photo.. BUT... I decided to learn a bit about resin today!! I wont lie I totally ordered this mold off Temu for like 3$... but I had fun adding in mica powders and so much glitter!!! I'll try and get a pretty pic after I de-mold them! I'm not sure if de-mold is a word...

Making cookie dough. The oven turned on warming up, and then I heard the sound of a welding arc...it was my oven element.
My oven is now out: 2 stovetop burners and one oven element.

If anyone was curious... I sewed on my snow day. And I made the good kind of peanut butter cookies... mosy of which my teen has eaten. Pattern by jane magic craft patterns. Pottery by me.
