They have got to stop running that end around. They also need a top tier receiver. Coleman just isn’t cutting it.

I hope people realize that no matter what path they take to seek emergency relief, they need to start the process now, especially with the holiday weekend in between now and then.

This is going to make CATSM and ETMS2 so confusing… #iykyk

This does not bode well for those of us waiting on board results. 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️

This also isn’t the only other merger I’ve heard of. Apparently some STEM departments are merging as well. I don’t know what the motivation is if this redesign but it’s… interesting.

I had this same reaction watching it in real time, especially with that first arch. By episode 6 you will be floored. It gets really good.

Some of the formations did have bands marching in close proximity, especially the lead units of the Old Guard, the Divisions with their bands, and the cadet contingent at the end. Their marching was generally better than some of the other formations without bands, leading me to this observation.

I thought one of the big issues was the lack of bands and marching music as the formations went through the reviewing stands. As you know, it’s hard to keep step when all you hear is rock music and the engines of tracked vehicles, not drums beating at 120 beats per minute.

Did you order pizza over the past two days?

Yup. Worse than throwing track in Iraq. Which I can speak about from personal experience.

Also there’s a real chance they’ll learn about “blowing pack.” It’s not what the masses think it is…

I agree that the whole nomination thing has become a bit of voodoo science, in that if they want you in, they’ll find one for you. You just have to go through all the formalities. F/

A few years ago, I wound up requesting my cadet file out of curiosity and I was amazed at what I got—including my whole admissions file. Even though I applied for a presidential nomination as the son of a retired officer, turns out I think I just got a straight congressional one. 1/

I’m a graduate of that satellite program. It was an extremely impactful part of my professional education, and the instructors there were a large part of the reason why. Sorry to see this program go.

God I hope not.

Obviously I’m tracking that any good tanker knows this too 😊

The big thing we as a Corps are trying to advocate right now is that you might not have as easy access to JA support in LSCO compared to the GWOT. That’s why there has been an effort to reinforce LOAC training. And also an understanding that ROE in LSCO will be different than COIN.
March 14, 2025 at 9:51 PM
I bring this up because there is a fundamental misunderstanding about limitations placed on by LOAC and the additional ones we place on our selves as a matter of policy through our ROE. It’s an unfortunate legacy of the GWOT that a generation of company grade officers didn’t fully understand that.

So I hope this is the way LTC Jason saw this us… while the building is a legitimate military target, the risk of collateral damage here (CIVCAS) outweighs the military necessity of destroying it. And I’m glad it was an informed Commander decision.

That was my reaction.

I grew up on the border near Niagara Falls. It’s more common than you think. Probably less so now with credit cards, but when I was a kid, it was very common in small businesses.
