As a Liverpool supporter I relate a lot more to Here I Go Again by Whitesnake ahead of the club anthem You'll Never Walk Alone.

An album I'm ashamed to say I've skimmed a few times down the years, but got properly stuck into it recently, Lou's vocals sounding so good, the gritty New York street vibe throughout courtesy of a bunch of incredible English session musicians, and killer lo-fi production, a real gem of a record.

Reading Frank Sinatra biography "The Chairman", favourite part so far, shortly after JFK is elected, Frank's doing a show at the Sands, seated at a table were Marilyn Monroe, Liz Taylor, Eunice Shriver and Jean K. Smith, ah Jean I said to myself, did sound for her at Ballygar fest back in the 90's.
