Finished reading Bones & All. It was kind of ass tbh, especially compared to the film but it's a quick read and I like cannibal fiction so devoid of the context of how absolutely wild the author is, a 3/5. Within context probably a 1/5.
The first edition cover of the novel Bones & All, a YA romance? Horror novel about cannibals. It has a film adaptation directex by Luca Guadagino that is 100% better. The cover has the main character Marin on it standing in the woods holding a backpack with a long rope of tied together pieces of hair, a reference to one of the grim keepsakes another cannibal in the book keeps of his victims.

I have completed the Ryu Ga Gotoku pilgrimage.
The Kabukicho ichiban-gai gate, an iconic location in the district and notable location in the Ryu Ga Gotoku game series. It's a red neon sign in the shape of a torii gate.

We're off to Chicago for our flight to Japan tomorrow!
Me and King Steenz seated in the back of an Uber. I'm wearing gold rimmed rounded sunglasses with purple lenses, a face mask with a silver chain that has a triangle dingle dangle on it and making a peace sign. Steenz has periwinkle blue braids at the moment and is wearing purple square frame sunglasses. They have a chained facemask as well and are doing double peace signs. The Pokemon Trubbish, a garbage bag with googly eyes essentially, sharp teeth, little nub feet, and dookie arms that have pink and blue fruity pebbles in them, is winking. The Pokemon, Mareanie, is a sort of sea urchin with a purple crown and blobby purple body, yellow eyes with blue green pupils. The tentacle like appendages that extend down from its head are also teal and have purple tipped spikes. The spike at the center of its crown is yellow. The Mareanie just chilling and smiling in this still from the Pokemon anime. The Pokemon, Espeon, is a sort of light purple sphinx-like cat. It has a red gam in between its two duskier purple eyes. It's tail is forked, kind of like a tuning fork probably in an attempt to make the Pokemon seem more psychic themed since it's psychic type. It is standing as if ready for battle. The Pokemon, Genger. It's a big purple blob with a shit eating grin perpetually on its face. It has red eyes with black pupils and a spiky back. It also has stubby little arms and legs. It's currently standing in a triumphant pose with its right hand extended into the air.

Sick today so I'm gonna finish up the Teen Apocalypse Trilogy, first up, Doom Generation.

Read Mujina Into The Deep vol 1 by Inio Asano. Best first volume I've read in a minute, I am pumped for more.
