It's too early to tell. Friday was an advanced poll and it is quite possible it was just more convenient for many people to vote that day. I hope it indicated a trend for a good turnout.

It's really hard to say. It's a holiday weekend so it may be more convenient for people to vote now than on election and it may not indicate a surge for a particular party. It sure felt like something was up, though.

Are demographics ever discussed in the traffic debates? I’m an early boomer. I don’t want to be still driving when Ford’s new highways are done. I want rapid transit and maybe an e-bike if there were bike lanes near me. I can’t be the only aging boomer who feels this way. There are so many of us.
