My dad’s cousin survived Pearl Harbor. My dad said he was his hero and, at 18, enlisted in the navy right after, his school graduating him and giving him his diploma a half year early. My uncle was 17 and quit school to enlist in the army. Can you imagine kids doing that today? Greatest generation.

Just saw that this is the first peace prize given by FIFA. They knew just how to play Trump giving him this award and making the location announcements at the Kennedy Center to keep him from interfering with the games here and stop the threats of taking them out of democratic cities.

Found a green eyelet dress with puffy sleeves at the Salvation Army, a white eyelet pinafore apron, my old square dance petticoat & red shoes with a stuffed Toto in a basket. Was a cocktail waitress in the dining room. I was only nineteen. That in itself was probably enough though.🙄
