Linux@Mac: This is my old Mac14,1 (2013). When it suddenly refused to boot, Apple generously offered to dispose of it free of charge. Instead I installed Linux on it—the Linux-Mac is now for 6 years in daily use. Had I listened to Apple, a fully functional device would have gone to a landfill.
