tbf they were written as pretty secret in the first season but i guess driving around in a huge car with your organisation's name on it doesnt sell it

having a separate device for music just has a vibe

it has suuuch an atmosphere like slow and full of grief and the mystery staying unexplained really completes it

ill be there to see it

- the last beacon: similar vibe as dinner and a show where its a good balance between weirdness, humor and emotions. its nice to see how owen and ianto got closer and we're really on a strak of ianto seekign validation aren't we?

- fall to earth: crazy how well they nailed ianto in the very first big finish audio drama. another one about his need for validation....... and also good commentary on how dehumanised call center workers are

- coffee: really good outside pov/slice of life story aaaah. ianto's desperate need for validation really comes through that one which is always interesting

- the great sontaran war: i remembered it being nice but not much more than that and yeah that about describes it. its a fun 1 hour but i dont really feel that strongly about it in either direction and i could easily never listen to it again

or tell people who dont know the character and as much as i love my friends dearly i want like, a mutual exchange of ideas that isnt really possible with someone unfamiliar with the source. its really really frustrating

sucks that i cant really find a space for these kind of conversations because of stuff like this like its either get interrupted by stupid shit so the conversation goes nowhere, talk into rhe void on social media so its not much of a conversation
