I am thinking of ditching Apple in 2025. I want a Samsung fold phone. Anyway, my 7 year old MacBook is finished. Are there any Windows laptops that have good battery and enough power? Not into those new Snapdragon ones as most programmes aren’t compatible…

Great to see a government, with @edmiliband.bsky.social as Energy Secretary, finally prioritising the U.K.’s energy needs. I don’t get why the right opposes it. The UK should Properly invest in Oxford PV as they’re leading the world in perovskite solar cell tech.

The Bleeding Tooth fungus (Hydnellum peckii) has both teeth on its underside and "blood" on its top!
The "blood" is extracellular fluid, which is squeezed out when the fungus absorbs water, increasing pressure until the red fluid is squeezed out!

One of the best things I’ve ever bought is a matte/anti-glare privacy screen for my iPhone. 🌟 The glare on the screen was awful! 😤 I don’t think Samsungs have this problem, though. 📱✨

Here’s a thought on assisted dying: if it becomes legal, would it end up being the only state funded option for end-of-life care? The government barely supports hospice care as it is. Not sure who to tag, but it’s worth discussing!
