I'm starting to understand how due to childhood dynamics with caregivers, many kids, especially girls, were socialized to want to earn an audience or love from the coldest and least deserving, doing way too much than what they'd normally do or should be doing to win those types of people over

I am fiiiinalllyyy gonna be able to see Laufey next week, I've been a fan for a long time but I have been shut out of tickets for her smaller shows before she reallyreallyreally blew up. And Sabrina Carpenter's new album is probably my favorite end-to-end pop album since Carly Rae Jepsen's "Emotion"

successfully foiled my strong desire to play dance dance revolution today by throwing my ADHD at it on purpose -- i didn't take my meds so i had no absolutely no ability to self-start anything at all 😀 (i rolled my ankle playing doubles last night and would've tried to play on it otherwise tbh)

Omg same; my sister and brother in law love barcades and we went to a few when they lived in NYC bur my sister broke her leg and she hasn’t gotten surgery on it yet 🫠 that’s why I’m in MD in the first place and not NJ lol. But I told her about this place during brunch and she LIT UP

I have a script for a small dosage of instant release meds as needed situationally for when my extended script has worn off. I always felt like I I’ve leaned on it during this time of my cycle & it makes so much more sense now
