There have been discussions lately about what a difference it makes when city leaders actually seem to like the city they live in and represent. It’s clear this council doesn’t like Seattle, and seeks to punish our city via over-policing and under-funding.

I love listening each week but especially this week! Thank you for the great coverage of the No Azure for Apartheid protests. After seeing some bad takes in response to the protests, your discussion was refreshing - thank you for commending the workers who risked their jobs to take important action.

Not masking & cleaning indoor air sufficiently is our generations’ smoking habit. We will look back on it with shame & awe. I’m talking to you, Gen X & Millenials. Use some of that famous “nonconformity” and “undoing generational harms” productively on this v real, mundane, serious problem. Please.

In order to get there I’d have to take the 8 there which means I’d probably be late!
