My performance from @xcoax.org 2025 reworking Pulsar Threads in realtime, so Pulsar Threading. It's intense, even for me. Topped, tailed & tweaked simultaneous scrubbed, scratched, scuffed & skewed material sourced from nuPg £0 || nyp #computermusic #noise pixelmechanics.bandcamp.com/track/pulsar...

My favourite Cocteau Twins record by quite some margin.

Many years ago I shared a nod with the Bass Thing from The Wonderstuff in Tower Records on Broadway. He worked there after he quit the band. I think I was wearing a PWEI t-shirt at the time. There was a great weekend market in the lot next door where this woman called Scary Mary sold handpainted Ts.

Oh, and this kid scratching at the window in Salem's Lot, which scared me senseless as a child.

Have walked past this building countless times & know one of the other residents, but have never seen any of it from the inside! Not sure if you saw much of Porty, but nearby Marlborough St is interesting b/c it has examples of many of older housing stock types in Edinburgh, e.g. Georgian > 1930s.

This will happen to Potter, who will go to Forest, when they sack Postecoglou.

Ah, you'd only get a few months of leisure though before it was time for another person to be sacked at a different club and you'd be appointed again, for a few months.

If people are listening on headphones they'll miss a lot of the work. I know Marcin pretty well, and it's quite different to his other work. The sounds are the same, but the structures are quite different. As someone else has said, sonification studies. I might try to set up my own multichannel mix!

I've been listening to it as more of an installation, something on not quite in background but that I dip into rather than listen to, e.g. when you leave the room for a few mins or more and then come back in. I should also say that I've got good speakers so the auditory distortion stuff delivers.

A synthesiser, specifically a Dirty Electronics Bed of Nails #synthsky
8 nails hammered into a piece of chipboard connected by solder wire and resistors with an integrated circuit chip in the middle. It's a synthesiser of sorts

Zoning out / zoning in to The Sunny Side of Hell by @mhasselbalch.bsky.social. Billowing layers of foggy drone shot through with god rays.
