Solidarity and same. The triple feeding for mere droplets did such a number on my mental health, as if being postpartum with a newborn isn’t hard enough. She’s now a healthy energetic toddler, all thanks to formula.

I’m so sorry. 💔

But who amongst us can prevail in the face of those bracelets?

We had to put multiple ones around our house because our then-14-year-old cat would throw up on sight of our new puppy, like clockwork, for WEEKS. Doing 1-2 plugins per 700 sq feet seemed to help her. But also who knows!

In case anyone’s curious the goat gave me the most trouble

Also bring a few Gatorades or electrolyte tablets for you and bridal party— it will rehydrate faster than straight water! Setting powder for your face will also help keep any makeup from sweating off, though minimal makeup is easiest in heat.

I was my sister’s MOH in blazing 90-degrees in a vineyard! Bring a parasol for shade, bring a second “party” dress for sometime after the ceremony (I had long since sweated thru my original dress) and possibly extra bra/unmentionables. Waterproof mascara so the sweat doesn’t run it.

We have a house that runs hot so we avoid oven recipes unless I’m roasting a chicken in the morning 🫠

We love “Asian noodle salad”, a variation on a recipe of my MIL. We use pre-cooked or canned chicken over cold capellini pasta, dressed w/Asian salad dressing (we like Annie’s Asian sesame), w/ chopped fresh veg of choice, with crumbled dry ramen noodles as a garnish.

Like others on the thread we are doing a lot of thrifting & Old Navy for the toddler. I set a reminder to shop on the super cash days to buy next size/season/whatever we couldn’t thrift. We usually get a pretty deep discount that way.

Done!

My 21mo learned to say “I wuv yoo“ and has since said it semi-regularly to my husband for the past month +. No such phrase from her has yet been directed my way!

Indoor seed starting definitely makes a difference in that case!

In addition to fresh summer eating, we freeze them whole in freezer bags, ~1 lb per bag, and use them for pan sauces all winter long. If you like tomatoes and pasta it’s absolutely delicious.

Cherry tomatoes are great for our maritime shorter summers. We got 10 lbs from 2 plants last treat w: regular harvesting. FYI if you get indeterminate varieties you may need to prune new growth later in summer to keep size manageable. Otherwise they do keep vining.

I grow 2 plants in one 4x4’ bed, or 1 plant per largest pot you can buy. They have enormous roots. I do add a dash of veggie fertilizer at planting time esp for pots. Full sun location, regular water (soil should be lightly damp at 1 finger deep). Mulch helps with heat waves.

I grow tomatoes in zone 8b maritime climate in WA! Possible v similar to UK? Been backyard growing for 8 years, very obsessed. It’s too late to start from seed but plenty of time still for nursery starts. I wait till nights are 45+ degrees F to plant them out.

It looks so good! It’s my mom’s favorite cake and I’ve always wanted to try making one.

Done! Not a LC myself but have struggled with MRNA side effects. I’ve really appreciated the minimal side effects I got with Novavax.

I feel this (in a particular bruised spot on my nose where my 19mo smacked and kicked my glasses during a similar rumpus today)
